How to connect to Wi-Fi

  • Step 01

    Turn on the power

    Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds.

    *Depending on the surrounding network, or if you are within the airport area, it sometimes takes 5-10 minutes to connect to the Internet.
    If it is still not connected after 10 minutes, press and hold the power button for 15 seconds to restart the device.

    Power on the WIFIBOX: press and hold the power button for 3 seconds.

  • Step 02

    Check if all LED lights are on

    All LED lights turn white and are ready for use (within 1 minute).

    When all LED lights turn white (within 1 to 10 minutes after powering on), the device is ready for use.

    *If you cannot connect to Wi-Fi, please press and hold the power button for 15 seconds to restart your device.

    Go to "Settings", then "Wi-Fi", and turn on the Wi-Fi option.

How to charge the Wi-Fi sharer itself

  • Please use your own charger.

    WiFiBOX is a service where you only need to rent the Wi-Fi sharer itself. To charge the sharer, please use your smartphone’s charger. Please make sure you have the following charger type.

    Please use the USB Type-A charging head to charge the WIFIBOX
    Do not use the USB Type-C charging head to charge the WIFIBOX

    Important: Make sure your charger uses USB Type-A on the charging head.
    Chargers with USB Type-C cannot be used because the device is not compatible with DC5V/3A power output.
    Certain types of chargers are also incompatible.

    How to charge

    Use built-in wires

    1. Pull out the USB Type-A cable from the device.

    Place your finger on the edge of the wire tip marked with a ▲ and slide it down while pressing.

    2. Plug the wire into the charger

    The USB Type-A in this device is a reversible type. Plug it into the charger and start charging.
    When you see all four green LED lights light up, it means charging is complete.

    Precaution:
    Forcing a cord into an obviously incompatible charger can damage the connector. Please be careful with it.
    After charging, please unplug the cord immediately.

    Use your USB cable

    Use the USB Type-A to C cable to connect.

    Connect the Wi-Fi sharer’s USB Type-C port to your USB Type-A charger.
    When you see all four green LED lights on, it has finished charging.

How to use it as a mobile power supply

  • 01Plug the corresponding wire into your smartphone

    02Press the charging button. It will activate power bank mode.

    03You can determine how much power is left through the LED battery indicator. *Once you finish charging, don’t forget to plug it in immediately, otherwise you will lose power to the Wi-Fi sharer.

if you have problems

Unable to connect to the internet
  1. Make sure the Wi-Fi settings on your device are turned on.
  2. Restart your device.
  3. Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds to restart the Wi-Fi sharer.
  4. Move to another location where the signal may be stronger. If you are in an airport area, in a crowded place or in a mountainous area, sometimes it won't connect properly.
Can't power on or charge Wi-Fi device
  1. If you can't turn on your Wi-Fi device, make sure it's not dead or low on power.
  2. Once it's fully charged, try turning it on by holding the power button for 15 seconds.
Power bank function not working
  1. Make sure the Wi-Fi device is not out of power or lacks power.
  2. Make sure you have pressed the charging button to activate power bank mode.
lost or damaged
  1. In "Order History" in "My Page", select your order number and click "Lost/Damaged Machine"

*You may have to pay for lost/damaged equipment.
